Since 1996, Wendy's professional specialties have focused on comprehensive financial planning, integrated wealth management advisory services, estate and trust planning services, retirement and income planning, business services, and succession planning.
In February 2009, Wendy Namack, CFP®, opened her independent practice, Namack Portfolio Investment Professionals, LLC, in North Port, Florida. Securities and advisory services are offered through Commonwealth Financial Network®, Member FINRA/SIPC, a Registered Investment Adviser.
Previously, Wendy was an associate vice president–investment officer with Wachovia Securities, LLC, and its predecessor, AG Edwards & Sons, Inc., for 13 years, having worked in branches in Englewood and Bradenton, Florida.
Wendy's extraordinary passion for our community is evident. She is exceptionally active in nonprofit and leadership organizations, including memberships, sponsorships, committees, initiatives, and task forces in North Port and South Sarasota County. In previous professional careers, Wendy has accumulated extensive skills in grant writing and as a consultant in marketing, sales, accounting, operations, and management. In the public sector, she has served in a variety of capacities, including 13 years at the University of Florida (UF) in Gainesville as assistant director, chief operating officer for the Florida Foundation for Future Scientists, and assistant director, special projects, for the UF Registrar's Office. In St. Petersburg, she was appointed to coordinate the grants program for the Florida Marine Research Institute, a division of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
Wendy was born in Venice, Florida, in 1958, and five generations of her family have called Sarasota and Charlotte counties home. Wendy loves to travel and entertain.
Wendy believes, as stewards of this earth, it is our responsibility to create sustainable communities that enrich our lives and to leave our world better than we found it. Her office was designated as the first Sarasota Green Business Partner within the City of North Port.
